As this spring’s School of Spiritual Formation course, Martha Newman and Carol Toombs will identify ten life disciplines Jesus lived by – disciplines such as discernment, surrender, simplicity, hospitality, justice, and reconciliation. In so doing, they will borrow the wisdom of modern spiritual thinkers to flesh out what is meant by each of these and to learn how we can best incorporate these disciplines into our own lives.
