About Salt and Light Together, Inc. Dental Clinic

The Salt and Light Together, Inc. 501(c)(3) Dental Clinic is dedicated to providing free essential dental care to underserved communities in Tarrant County. Since 2001, our dedicated team of volunteer and staff dental professionals has been transforming lives one smile at a time.

Salt and Light’s Dental Clinic was initiated by members of First Presbyterian Church Fort Worth when they noticed the lack of accessible or free dental care in our community. Initially housed on Penn St., we expanded our services and relocated to First Pres’ Community Crossroads Outreach Center in December 2011.

Since our founding, we’ve provided free essential dental care to thousands of neighbors in need, breaking down barriers to accessing quality dental services. Our work continues to grow thanks to the generous support of dental professionals throughout the DFW area.

Patient Information

Who We Serve

We welcome adult patients (18+) who:

  • Are experiencing dental issues
  • Are earning low incomes or are currently unhoused
  • Have limited or no access to dental care
How to Schedule

Getting care is simple:

  • Schedule an appointment by email or phone (817.252.4146)
  • Walk-ins are welcome during clinic hours
  • Clinic operates most Mondays and some Fridays from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.

We offer free comprehensive essential dental care including:

  • Digital X-rays
  • Amalgam fillings
  • Anterior composites
  • Simple extractions
  • Education
  • Referrals for complex care
  • Preventive cleanings (hygiene clinics only)
