Vacation Bible School: SOLAR UNDER THE SUN 

Dates: June 8-12
Time: 9 a.m.-12 p.m.

Ages: For 3-years-old (January 1, 2026) through entering 6th Grade
Cost: $25
Spend a week at First Pres, full of fun and service as we learn how the power of the sun and the love of God can change lives! Using the Solar Under the Sun curriculum, children will explore how solar energy brings light and hope to communities around the world. Each day, kids will take part in hands-on projects that share God’s light with others, creating sun catchers, building solar ovens, and assembling care kits for families in need. Elementary Music and Arts Camp

Dates: June 8-12
Time: 12-4 p.m.
Ages: For entering 1st through 6th Grade
Cost: $75, Optional Lunch: $14
The Cat in the Hat will be our theme this week as we focus on God’s creative gifts of singing, dancing, art, and playing instruments. Caution: your child will be exposed to intense rhyming if they attend Music and Arts Camp 2026! Students will share the story by creating songs, instrumental pieces, dances, and works of art and drama. Our faculty features accomplished music & art educators from the DFW area who can’t wait to create with your child. The closing performance will take place at 4 p.m. on June 12. Participants may register for the chef-prepared lunch option (lunch cost is $14 for the week) or may bring a lunch. Please contact Laura Collins or Rebecca Sawyer with any questions.

Music and Arts Camp Jr.

Dates: July 13-17
Time: 9 a.m.–12 p.m.
Ages: 4-years-old (as of July 1, 2026) through entering 1st Grade
Cost: $50
Budding young artists and musicians will sing, dance, play instruments, and create works of art based on our theme! This year’s theme is Peter and the Wolf, based on the music of Sergei Prokofiev. Mission on the Move

Dates: July 20-24
Time: 9 a.m.–3 p.m.

Ages: For entering 3rd through 6th Grade
Cost: $25
Upper Elementary children are invited for a weeklong immersion experience focusing on issues of housing within our own community. Campers will participate through service at area agencies and reflection through simulations and exercises. Please contact Ann Nielsen with any questions.

Overnight Camping Opportunities

We would love for as many children to attend camp as possible, no matter the week or location, we believe it is a wonderful experience in their faith journey. Camp is expensive, there are, as needed, scholarships available through the First Pres Scholarship Fund which covers up to 50% of camp. Summit46 Conference at Mo-Ranch

Dates: June 16-19
Time: Overnight
Ages: For entering 4th through 6th Grade
Cost: $185
Location: Hunt, Texas
We are excited to return to the Summit46 conference at Mo-Ranch. We will travel together as a group by chartered bus. During Summit46, children who are entering 4th through 6th grade come together to be inspired to grow in their faith by learning and living the words and deeds of our Lord Jesus Christ. Hundreds of youth participants will gather in the Hill Country for an unforgettable Mo-Ranch experience that’s filled with new friends, spiritual enrichment, worship, study and recreation. Activities and recreation will include everything from taking a challenge on the Mo ropes course, dancing, games, energizers, vespers and popsicle parties, to aquathons, sports, evening movies, swimming in the beautiful Guadalupe, singing God’s praises and more! Mo-Ranch Summer Camp

Ages: For ages 8-15 Years
Location: Hunt, Texas
Our church has a long history of children attending Mo-Ranch summer camps. Parents are responsible for drop-off and pick-up. Registration for camp and required paperwork is coordinated by Mo-Ranch. Parents must sign up through Mo-Ranch at www.moranch.org. We would love for as many children to attend camp as possible, no matter the week, we believe it is a wonderful experience in their faith journey.

Camp Gilmont Summer Camp

Ages: 1st-12th Grade
Location: Gilmer, Texas
Camp Gilmont is a PCUSA camp and conference center located in Gilmer, Texas, about 3 hours from First Pres. Your camper will experience the best week of their year at Gilmont. Throughout June and July, Gilmont offers Overnight Camps for campers in grades 1st–12th. First Pres will have several campers attending the week of July 12-17. Sessions begin on Sunday afternoon and end on Friday afternoon. Parents are responsible for drop-off and pick-up. Registration for camp and required paperwork is coordinated by Camp Gilmont at www.gilmont.org.
