Vacation Bible School: Under Construction  

Dates: June 9-13
Time: 9 a.m.–12 p.m.
Ages: For 3-years-old (January 1, 2025) through 5th Grade
Cost: $25  
Put on your hard hat and join us at the First Pres construction site for a week of learning about serving our community. We will be using the Habitat for Humanity and Under Construction curriculum. Each day, children will do service projects that will be donated to Habitat for Humanity. Throughout the week we will make bird houses, steppingstones, and welcome home kits. Come learn, serve and spend time with friends and strengthen our connection with God. Please contact Ann Nielsen with any questions

Mission on the Move

Dates: July 21-25
Time: 9 a.m.–3 p.m.
Ages: For entering 3rd through 6th Grades
Cost: $25
Upper Elementary children are invited for a weeklong immersion experience focusing on issues of hunger within our own community. Campers will participate through service at area agencies and reflection through simulations and exercises. Please contact Ann Nielsen with any questions.

Elementary Music and Arts Camp

Dates: June 9-13
Time: 12 p.m.–4 p.m.
Ages: For entering 1st through 5th Grades
Cost: $75
Optional Lunch: $12
Your student is invited to sing, say, dance, and play at our Music and Arts Camp 2025! During this week of camp, your students will take part in creating and sharing a story through singing, playing instruments, dancing, creating works of art, and drama.  Our faculty features accomplished music & art educators from the DFW area who can’t wait to create with your child.  The closing performance will take place at 4 p.m. on June 13.  Participants should bring a lunch each day or may register for the chef-prepared lunch option (lunch cost is $12 for the week.)  Please contact Rebecca Sawyer with any questions.

Music and Arts Camp Jr.

Dates: July 14-18
Time: 9 a.m.–12 p.m.
Ages: 4-years-old through entering 2nd Grade
Cost: $50
Budding young artists and musicians will sing, dance, play instruments, and create works of art based on our theme!  This year’s theme is The Carnival of the Animals, based on the music of Camille Saint-Saens.  The closing performance will take play at 12 p.m. on July 18. Overnight Camping Opportunities

We would love for as many children to attend camp as possible, no matter the week or location, we believe it is a wonderful experience in their faith journey. Camp can be costly, but scholarships are available through the First Pres Scholarship Fund, which can cover up to 50% of the camp cost as needed. Here are two wonderful camp options

Summit 46 Conference at Mo-Ranch

Dates: June 17-20
Time: Overnight
Ages: For entering 4th through 6th Grades
Cost: $185
We are excited to try something new by attending the Summit 46 conference at Mo-Ranch. We will travel together as a group by charter bus. During Summit 46, youth who are entering 4th through 6th grade come together to be inspired to grow in their faith by learning and living the words and deeds of our Lord Jesus Christ. Hundreds of youth participants will gather in the Hill Country for an unforgettable Mo-Ranch experience that’s filled with new friends, spiritual enrichment, worship, study and recreation. Activities and recreation will include everything from taking a challenge on the Mo ropes course, dancing, games, energizers, vespers and popsicle parties, to aquathons, sports, evening movies, swimming in the beautiful Guadalupe, singing God’s praises and more!  Mo-Ranch Summer Camp

Ages: For ages 8-15 Years 
Location: Hunt, Texas
Our church has a long history of children attending Mo-Ranch summer camps. The majority of our First Pres Kids will be attending either Session 2 or Session 5 this year. Parents are responsible for drop-off and pick-up. Registration for camp and required paperwork is coordinated by Mo-Ranch. Please contact Ann Nielsen with any questions.

Camp Gilmont Summer Camp

Ages: 1st - 12th Grade
Location: Gilmer, Texas
Camp Gilmont is a PCUSA camp and conference center located in Gilmer, Texas, about 3 hours from First Pres. Your camper will experience the best week of their year at Gilmont! Throughout June and July, Gilmont offers Overnight Camp for campers in grades 1st-12th. Sessions begin on Sunday afternoon and end on Friday afternoon.
