Young Adults
First Presbyterian Fort Worth’s Young Adult Ministry is a place for people in their 20’s, 30’s, and yes even into your 40’s to gather for worship, study, service, and social events. Building community, nurturing friendships, and caring for one another through the many experiences and stages of life during these years is the foundation of growing together in faith and following Jesus.

YOUNG ADULT MINISTRY GROUPS
YOUNG ADULT GROUP
The Young Adult Group is the space for college, college-age, and early career adults. Usually between the ages of 18-29, the Young Adult group meets weekly on Sunday mornings and throughout the month to grow in faith and build relationships.
ROOTED & GROWING GROUP
Rooted & Growing is defined less by their age and more by their experiences and interests. The challenges of job changes, relationships, busy schedules, starting families, and so much more define this group that is made up of people in their late 20’s and into their early 40’s.
YOUNG FAMILIES GROUP
Being parents of young children comes with unique challenges, but the call and desire to be faithful disciples remains. You love this parenthood thing, but it can be tough. This young adult group offers an opportunity to be together with others who understand and seek opportunities to think and grow in faith together.

(See link above to see what's happening next!)
Pickleball & Dinner
Last Wednesday of Each Month, 6-8 p.m. in the First Pres Gym
Come play laugh, play, and eat with the First Pres Young Adults every last Wednesday of the month in the First Pres Gym. Dinner from the First Pres kitchen is free and we’ll play some very competitive (not really!) pickleball.
3rd Thursday Choice Pantry
The First Pres Young Adults (YAs) host an evening Choice Pantry at Community Crossroads each month. The group gathers for a light dinner and to set up for the Choice Pantry at 5:30 p.m. The pantry is open from 6:30–8 p.m. All volunteers are required to complete the Civil Rights Training course. Additionally, a Food Handlers Certificate is helpful. For questions regarding training courses, please contact Eric Varnon, 817.335.1231.
Community and World Partnerships: In addition to the above opportunities with Community Crossroads, the Young Adult service group engages with other community partners including Trinity Habitat for Humanity, Opal Lee’s Community Garden, The Presbyterian Night Shelter, and more.
UKirk TCU
UKirk TCU is the home of the Presbyterian (PCUSA) campus ministry at Texas Christian University in Fort Worth. We are an authentic community dedicated to embodying Jesus' unconditional love in the world to our neighbors, following God by engaging with holy scripture even with questions, and having fun with friends along the way!
