Vacation Bible School: Water All Around the World
June 17-21 from 9 a.m.-12 p.m.
Ages: 3 years old (by January 1, 2024) through 5th Grade
Cost: $25
We are excited to travel around the world this summer at VBS, as we dive deep into our Water All Around the World curriculum. This week is designed to enable children to understand the importance of access to clean water for health, and to make them aware of the way in which this access (or lack of access) affects the lives of children in other countries. Through scripture, learning about the Living Waters organization, crafts, and music we will learn, serve and strengthen our connection with God.
Elementary Music and Arts Camp
June 17-21 from 12-4 p.m.
Ages: Entering 1st through 5th Grades
Cost: $75
Your student is invited to sing, say, dance, and play at our Music and Arts camp 2024! During this week of camp, your student will take part in creating and sharing a story through singing, playing instruments, dancing, creating works of art and playing games. Our faculty features accomplished music & art educators from the DFW area who can’t wait to create with your child. The closing performance will take place at 7 p.m. on June 21. Participants should bring a lunch each day or register for the chef-prepared lunch option (lunch cost is $12 for the week.) For more information, contact Rebecca Sawyer.
Mo-Ranch Camp
Session 2 (June 9-15( and Session 5 (July 7-13). Overnight.
Ages: 8-15 years old.

Location: Mo-Ranch Camp in Hunt, Texas
Our church has long history of children attending Mo-Ranch summer camps. The majority of our First Pres Kids will be attending either Session 2 or Session 5 this year. Parents are responsible for drop-off and pick-up. Registration for camp and required paperwork is coordinated by Mo-Ranch. Parents must sign up through Mo-Ranch. We would love for as many children to attend camp as possible, no matter the week, we believe it is a wonderful experience in their faith journey. Camp is expensive, and there are scholarships available through the Prairie Valley Legacy Fund, which covers up to 50% of camp.
Mission on the Move
July 22-26 from 9 a.m.-3 p.m.
Ages: Entering 3rd – 6th Grades
Cost: $25
Upper Elementary children are invited for a weeklong immersion experience focusing on issues of earth care both globally and in our own community. Campers will participate through service at area agencies and reflection through simulations and exercises. Please contact Ann Nielsen with any questions.
Music and Arts Camp Jr.
July 22-26 from 9 a.m.-12 p.m.
Ages: 4 years old (by July 22, 2024) through entering 2nd Grade
Cost: $50
Budding young artists and musicians will sing, dance, play instruments and create works of art based on the theme Ocean Friends. The closing performance will take place at 12 p.m. on July 26. For more information, please contact Rebecca Sawyer.
