New Bible Study – Exodus
Join the Rev. Drs. Betsy Pense and Michael Waschevski in a study of Exodus this fall. Exodus is one of the most important and foundational books of the Bible. Exodus is rich with narratives and theology that shaped Israel and their covenant relationship with God and is an indispensable book of understanding the gospel narrative and the life and ministry of Jesus. Bible in Depth meets in two class sessions, either Sunday mornings at 10 a.m. in room 237 or Wednesday mornings at 10.45 in room 237. Classes begin Sunday, September 9 or Wednesday, September 12. To register, simply or call Celeste in the church office. (817.335.1231 ext. 261)
Read the Bible in 9 Months!
You are invited to read through the Bible in 9 months beginning Sunday, September 9. The Reading the Bible in 9 Months reading plan was developed by our own Dr. Michael Waschevski and has used by over 200 First Presbyterian members and friends. The plan provides daily readings of scripture that foster connections between the various books of the Bible and theological themes speak across the centuries. Copies of the reading plan are available below, or by emailing in the church office.
If you have questions about studying the Bible, the courses described above, or would like more information on these and other study opportunities, feel free to contact Michael Waschevski in the church office at 817-335-1231, ext. 229.
